There r two kinds of 'Mother' in Life: one is Biological_Mother & the other is Mental_Mother especially for the Artists -- the Writers, the Painters & the Meditators, to whom it is a big enough a deal for them to keep the history of their lineage*...

Not quite, that connection goes much farther back, but ( ) want to touch on something else before ( ) get there...
The UC_Berkeley English major cocaine addict gay ex_landlord & ( ) hung out often smoking pot together... Before ( ) moved into a studio, ( ) shared a flat with four other housemates who were all male UC_Berkeley students & one of them was also gay & he, the ex_landlord & ex_landlord's other UC_Berkeley gay student friend & ( ) went to disco dancing at the Stud's in San_Francisco once for instance...
At another occasion, the ex_landlord & his gay friend & ( ) went up to Botanical_Garden up on Berkeley_Hills...
Yet at another occasion, the ex_landlord who was once a model asked ( ) to videotape him posing; we drove out to a woodsy area & did the shooting, but ( ) was not happy with the result...
One day when the ex_landlord & ( ) were smoking pot in his room, he recommended ( ) to read Thomas_Wolfe & ( ) responded saying that ( ) English is not good enough to read Thomas_Wolfe -- for what ( ) remember skimming at least one of his writing had given ( ) an impression that Thomas_Wolfe's writing is 'convoluted'...
( ) spent ( ) years from age 2 to 19 in South_Korea (born on Boston in 1953) & ( ) was not a good student -- unlike ( ) mom & dad who had skipped grades -- like Thomas_Wolfe; ( ) mom studied English Literature at University_of_North_Carolina_Chapel_Hill where Thomas_Wolfe studied before Harvard {where ( ) dad studied Structural_Engineering}...
( ) grew up 'disturbed' due to ( ) parent's endless domestic violence scenes they played out...
( ) dad was a 'Closet_Case_Gay' -- a taboo subject matter in South_Korea then...
Nonetheless, ( ) English teacher at CCHS (Concord-Carlisle High School) in Concord, MA -- Mr_Robert_Horne -- gave ( ) much encouragement with Creative_Writing, the class he taught & ( ) even received 'Honor' in Creative_Writing on ( ) graduation from CCHS...
( ) folks wished ( ) would go to Wellesley, but the administrator who interviewed ( ) didn't think ( ) English level was adequate enough for the rigorous reading involved at Wellesley...
So ( ) ended up attending Pine_Manor_College -- then a two year women's college that has since become a four year co-ed college (then a predominantly rich white kids school, now a majority minority school)...
At Pine_Manor, ( ) received 'D' on ( ) first English term paper & ended up in infirmary...
The English teacher who gave ( ) 'D' on ( ) term paper -- whose name ( ) have forgotten -- told ( ) not to write 'convoluted' sentences; he had one injured eye...
Here, ( ) need to jump back to CCHS days...
When ( ) enrolled for the Senior class at CCHS -- the grade ( ) had not completed while in South_Korea -- ( ) requested the History Class teacher to waver ( ) because the reading was too difficult for ( ) to handle & he had heard about the South_Korean education system {there used to b three Entrance Examinations in South_Korea from 6th grade to Junior_High_School & from 9th grade to High_School & 12th_grade to College & teen age students committed suicide if they fail the Entrance Examinations; South_Korean government trimmed it down to two Entrance_Examinations -- 6th_grade to Junior_High_School & 12th_grade to College Entrance Examination -- but it was still a problem when ( ) was there; ( ) would have been one of those suicidal case had it not been ( ) dad who arranged to have ( ) to come to US} & the CCHS History_Class teacher told ( ) to have fun & let ( ) off from the History_Class, but ( ) had already purchased the textbook for History_Class & one day ( ) opened it & read the first page -- Paul_Revere popped out...
The next day, ( ) joined Rifle_Club & Fencing_Club... It so happens ( ) used to play with toy_guns & toy_swords instead of dolls when ( ) was a child -- according to ( ) grandma with whom ( ) lived with from age 2 to 7 & from whom ( ) inherited ( ) nose...
( ) arm muscle is not developed enough to hold a rifle steady, so ( ) didn't do well at the Rifle_Club & ( ) found ( ) not 'aggressive' enough to b a good fencer at the Fencing_Club, nonetheless ( ) hung out at the Fencing_Club & went to several fencing tournaments...
At one such fencing tournaments where the students from Concord_High & the neighboring Lincoln_High competed, ( ) met one male student from Lincoln_Sudbury_High_School who somehow found the house where ( ) lived in Concord & visited ( ) one day...
He looked much like David_Eames_Kammerer...
It so turned out he came from household with domestic problem... After that day though, the Lincoln_Sudbury student & ( ) didn't meet again...
At Pine_Manor_College, when ( ) ended up at the infirmary after receiving 'D' on ( ) English term paper, a classmate from the same English class visited ( ) -- Leanne_Lord (who is from Lincoln, MA)... Upon hearing that ( ) was having a nervous breakdown for having received 'D' on ( ) English term paper, she said that is nothing compared to the trouble she was dealing with -- the quarrels between her parents...
She moved into the same dorm where ( ) lived soon after that...
One night when it was pouring hail, a woman's scream pieced the wet night through the window; ( ) was studying & ignored the scream, then one of ( ) neighbor student came into ( ) room -- ( ) had left ( ) door open -- & told ( ) that Leanne had jumped out into the pouring night to look for the screaming woman... ( ) chair got knocked over as ( ) body reacted upon hearing the news & ( ) jumped over the closed dorm iron gate & went into the pitch dark pouring night...
After some searching around, ( ) ran into Leanne who stood in front of ( ) completely soaked in her pajama... ( ) told Leanne that she should return to the dorm at once, but instead, she ran toward the dark parking lot where the scream had emanated from... ( ) returned to ( ) dorm room & took hot shower frustrated... ( ) neighbor student asked ( ) if ( ) found Leanne whether she had returned to her room, ( ) shook ( ) head...
The next day, Leanne & ( ) name were found on the Ladies_Room wall with what image u might imagine...
Leanne in those days reminded ( ) of the Lincoln_Sudbury student, ( ) mean, David_Eames_Kammerer...
Lately, ( ) m hanging out with a Canadian scientist, Dean_Piecka on FB -- a friend of John_Kenneth_Hutchison...
There ( ) found a befitting description of Leanne_Lord...
It took ( ) a long while to 'feel_out' the artery of American Literature -- not that ( ) claim to have found it...
Since ( ) didn't really get into Kerouac that much {though he is a genius of poetry (the man was born with jazz built into his bones), his stream_of_consciousness bit didn't quite hit the chord with ( ) neurons}, ( ) was unaware of the 'real_deal' behind the 'Beat_Generation' -- which is equivalent of having missed the whole boat...
Kerouac is the most quoted Beat writer, right? Right... Then Ginsberg, a poet... But ( ) don't understand poetry (like rap song) due to language deficit... So y bother checking out the third? U know what ( ) mean? Then ( ) had to work & had no time to read, etc....
Then one day as ( ) strolled the Telegraph_Avenue in Berkeley, ( ) walked into Cody's_Bookstore (now gone) & found on the newly arrival center table a book about William_Burroughs... Yes, ( )'d heard of his name though never read his work... {( ) haven't read much of anything; ( ) reading speed mega slow plus dyslexia...} ( ) read a few introductory sentences that said that Burroughs killed his wife -- Joan_Vollmer -- while in Mexico...

As ( ) walked out of Cody's_Bookstore, ( ) ran into Jerry_Bass* whom ( ) met as a customer at CopyMat_Shattuck_Square** where ( ) worked {he was making a copy of a booklet about Indonesian_Poetry if ( ) m not mistaken; ( ) think he once worked in Indonesia & ( ) think he is a writer of some kind or a poet; it's been a while -- 1989...} & told him about the book... The incident should have prompted ( ) to look in further about the 'Beat_Generation', but it didn't happen... Y would ( ) b interested in reading a murderer's writing? If u have to kill someone to get inspiration to write, u r a sicko, right? Right... So, once again ( ) had let the opportunity to find out what 'Beat_Generation' was all about to slip through ( ) fingers -- till yesterday...

*Jerry_Bass is the person to whom ( ) handed ( ) first_writing {other than the letter ( ) sent to SF_Chronicle} that sparked this 19_year_long scribbling on the internet to send to David_Letterm&an (2001?)... Jerry_Bass had days experimenting with LSD & he told ( ) people used to 'follow' him around... ( )'d seen him do impromptu on the BART one day as we were returning to Berkeley after a Comedy_Show in San_Francisco... He was damn good... He once worked at UN too, though ( ) don't know the detail job description... & like ( ), like Jack_Kerouac, like Ginsberg, like Jedd_Garet, Jerry_Bass is also diagnosed with Mental_Illness -- Artists'_disease...
**Mansour_Taeed, the Physics_major from UC_Berkeley was ( ) Supervisor at CopyMat_ShattuckSquare who turned into a Stage_Actor in the evenings... He was the only human being who knew that ( ) secretly wanted to b a scriptwriter... He has roles in three of ( ) scripts: [Garage_Story], [Mosquito] & [Via_Rotterdam]...
